Sawyer Town is a town located in Choctaw County, Oklahoma, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Sawyer Town is home to 274 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 267, It is the 461st largest in terms of population. It is spread over 4.66 sq mi (12.07 square kilometre), of which, 4.64 square miles (12.02 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 195th largest by area in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.
