Saunders County, Nebraska is a county located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 19830 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 20034 in July 2008, It is the 16th largest county by population in the U.S. state of Nebraska. The county spans an area of 758.82 sq mi (1965.33 kmē), of which, 753.9 square miles (1952.59 kmē) of it is land and 4.92 square miles (12.74 kmē) of it is water, it is the 29th largest by area in the U.S. state of Nebraska.
