Saugus Cdp is a United States census designated place located in the Essex County, Massachusetts, United States. As of 2000 the population was 26078. making it Massachusetts's 53rd largest. It covers total area of 11.75 sq mi (30.43 sq km), of which, 10.99 square miles (28.46 sq km) of it is land and 0.77 square miles (1.99 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 50th largest by total area among Massachusetts.
