Santa Rosa City, Guadalupe County, New Mexico is a city located in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. In 2000, the population was 2744. The July 2008 population estimate is 2642, making it the 57th most populous in New Mexico. The city has a total area of 4.27 miē (11.06 kmē), of which, 4.25 square miles (11.01 kmē) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, it is the 117th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2744 residents, 457 households, and 284 families in the city.
