Sanford Town, Covington County, Alabama is a town located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 269 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 268 in July 2008, making it the 75th least populous in Alabama. The town comprises an area of 4 sq mi (10.36 square kilometre), making it the 276th largest by size in Alabama.
