The city encompasses an area of 4.74 miē (12.28 kmē ), of which, 3.9 square miles (10.1 kmē) of it is land and 0.84 square miles (2.18 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 28th largest by total area in Idaho. It is ranks second in the size of its inland waterways in Idaho.
