Saltville Town is a town located in Smyth and Washington counties, Virginia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 2204 people (2000 census). The July 2008 population estimate is 2206, making it the 176th most populous in Virginia. It is spread over 8.09 sq mi (20.95 kmē), of which, 8.05 square miles (20.85 kmē ) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 kmē) of it is water, it is the 93rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Virginia.
