Salisbury City is a one of the Wicomico County, Maryland, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 23743. In July 2008, its estimated population was 28200, It is Maryland's 46th largest by population . Its area is just over 11.42 square miles (29.58 sq km), of which, 11.07 square miles (28.67 sq km) of it is land and 0.36 square miles (0.93 sq km) of it is water, making it Maryland's 49th largest by total area.
