Saline County is a county in the United States of Nebraska. In 2000, the population was 13843. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 13771, giving it the 21st largest population among Nebraska's county. It has total area of 576.06 square miles (1491.99 kmē), of which, 575.34 square miles (1490.12 kmē) of it is land and 0.73 square miles (1.89 kmē) of it is water, it is the 47th largest by area in the U.S. state of Nebraska.
