Saline County is a county located in Missouri, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of county in 2000 stood at 23756 as per the Census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 22505, giving it the 50th largest population among Missouri's county. Its area is just over 764.59 sq mi (1980.28 square kilometre), of which, 755.55 square miles (1956.87 square kilometre) of it is land and 9.04 square miles (23.41 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 19th largest by total area in Missouri.
