Saline County is a county in the United States of Kansas. The county has a population of 53597 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 54657, giving it the tenth largest population among Kansas's county. It has total area of 721.28 sq mi (1868.11 square kilometre), of which, 719.61 square miles (1863.78 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.67 square miles (4.33 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 59th largest by total area among Kansas's county.
