Safford City is a United States city located in the Graham County, Arizona, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 9232 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 9823, It is 52nd most populous in Arizona. The city comprises an area of 7.95 square miles (20.59 sq km), of which, 7.92 square miles (20.51 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, it is the 160th largest in terms of geographical size.
