Saco City is a city located in York County, Maine, in the Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. It is home to over 16822 people (2000 census). It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 18125, It is the eighth largest in terms of population. The city has a total area of 39.35 square miles (101.92 square kilometre), of which, 38.48 square miles (99.66 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.87 square miles (2.25 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the ninth largest by area in the U.S. state of Maine.
