Sabine Parish is a parish located in Louisiana, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Sabine Parish is home to 23459 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 23688, making it the 38th most populous parish in Louisiana. The parish has a total area of 1011.51 sq mi (2619.8 kmē), of which, 865.27 square miles (2241.04 kmē) of it is land and 146.25 square miles (378.79 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 15th largest by total area among Louisiana's parish.

The population density was 27.1 people per square mile (10.46/kmē), it would be the 15th least densely populated parish in the U.S. state of Louisiana. In the parish the population was spread out, with 26.2% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 24.5% from 25 to 44, 24.4% from 45 to 64, and 16.5% who were 65 or older.
