Rutherford College Town is a one of the Burke County, North Carolina, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 1293. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1275, It is the 345th largest by population in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The town spans an area of 2.28 mi˛ (5.91 sq km), it is the 355th largest by area in the U.S. state of North Carolina.
