Rural Valley Borough is a one of the Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Rural Valley Borough is home to 922 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 852, making it Pennsylvania's 916th largest. The borough has a total area of 2.1 sq mi (5.44 sq km), giving it the 346th largest by total area among Pennsylvania.
