Rupert City is a city in the Minidoka County, Idaho, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 5645 as per the Census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 5082, making it the 26th most populous in Idaho. The city spans an area of 2.03 sq mi (5.26 kmē), makes it the 51st largest by total area in Idaho.

As of the census of 2000, there were 5645 people in the city, organized into 2024 households, and 1443 families living in the city. The population density was 2779.9 people per square mile (1073.33/kmē), it is the 15th most populated city in terms of population density. There were 2204 housing units at an average density of 1085.7 per square mile (419.19/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.75 persons, and the average family size was 3.31 persons.
