Runnemede Borough, Camden County, New Jersey is a borough located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The borough has a population of 8533 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 8410, It is the 190th largest by population in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The borough has a total area of 2.12 square miles (5.49 kmē), of which, 2.09 square miles (5.41 kmē) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, it is the 281st largest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 8533 people, 457 households, and 284 families living in the borough. The population density was 4084.2 people per square mile (1576.92/kmē), it is the 158th most populated borough in terms of population density. There were 3510 housing units at an average density of 1679.4 per square mile (648.42/kmē). The average household size was 2.52 persons, and the average family size was 3.08 persons. In the borough the population was spread out, with 23.2% under the age of 18, 8.5% from 18 to 24, 30.5% from 25 to 44, 22.2% from 45 to 64, and 15.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 92.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.3 males. The median age was 37.8 years, The median age of males was 35.8 years, for females the median age was 39.9 years. The racial makeup of the borough was 7831 White, 321 Black or African American, 9 American Indian, 132 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, 135 from two or more races and 104 Ohter races.
