According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 14.38 mi˛ (37.24 sq km), of which, 14.29 square miles (37.01 sq km) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 29th largest by total area in New Mexico.
