Royal Oak City is a city in the Oakland County, Michigan, United States. Royal Oak City had an official population of 60062 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 57110, making it Michigan's 26th largest. The city spans an area of 11.82 mi˛ (30.61 sq km), it is the 55th largest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.
