Roswell City is a city located in Fulton County, Georgia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 79334. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 87657, making it Georgia's eighth largest. Its area is just over 38.61 square miles (100 sq km), of which, 38.02 square miles (98.47 sq km) of it is land and 0.59 square miles (1.53 sq km) of it is water, it is the ninth largest by area in the U.S. state of Georgia.
