Roseau County is one of the 87 county of Minnesota, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Roseau County is home to 16338 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 15865 in July 2008, It is the 53rd most populous county in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The county extends throughout a territory of 1678.33 miē (4346.85 kmē ), of which, 1662.51 square miles (4305.88 kmē) of it is land and 15.82 square miles (40.97 kmē) of it is water, it is the 13th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.

For every 100 females there were 105 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104 males.
