Rome City Town is one of the town of Noble County, Indiana, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, town's population was 1615 inhabitants. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 1666, It is 247th most populous in Indiana. It is spread over 2.17 square miles (5.62 kmē), of which, 1.19 square miles (3.08 kmē ) of it is land and 0.98 square miles (2.54 kmē) of it is water, making it Indiana's 176th largest by total area. It is ranks 17 in the size of its inland waterways in Indiana.
