Rogue River City is one of the city of Jackson County, Oregon, located towards the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. Rogue River City had an official population of 1847 in 2000. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1932, giving it the 147th largest population among Oregon. The city comprises an area of 0.97 sq mi (2.51 kmē), making it Oregon's 197th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1847 people in the city, organized into 16 households, and 12 families residing in the city. The population density was 1903.7 people per square mile (735.02/kmē), making it the 116th most densely populated city in Oregon. There were 949 housing units at an average density of 978.4 per square mile (377.76/kmē). The average household size was 2.03 and the average family size was 2.74.
