Rockville City is a United States city located in the Montgomery County, Maryland, United States. Rockville City had an official population of 47388 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 60734, It is 14th most populous in Maryland. The city extends throughout a territory of 13.45 sq mi (34.84 sq km ), it is the 34th largest by area in the U.S. state of Maryland.
