Rockport City is one of the city of Spencer County, Indiana, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. Rockport City had an official population of 2160 in 2000. Its population was estimated at 2045 in July 2008, making it the 204th most populous in Indiana. The city spans an area of 1.19 sq mi (3.08 square kilometre), of which, 1.17 square miles (3.03 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 253rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Indiana.
