As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 827, making it Washington's 165th smallest. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.63 sq mi (1.63 sq km ), of which, 0.59 square miles (1.53 sq km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 71st smallest by total area among Washington.
