Rochester City is one of the city of Strafford County, New Hampshire, located towards the Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Rochester City is home to 28461 inhabitants. It covers total area of 45.78 sq mi (118.57 kmē), of which, 45.15 square miles (116.94 kmē) of it is land and 0.63 square miles (1.63 kmē) of it is water, giving it the third largest by total area among New Hampshire. It is ranks 11 in the size of its inland waterways in New Hampshire.
