Rochester City is a city located in the Olmsted County, Minnesota, United States. It is home to over 85806 people (2000 census). In July 2008, its estimated population was 100413, It is the fourth largest by population in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The city extends throughout a territory of 39.75 mi˛ (102.95 square kilometre ), of which, 39.61 square miles (102.59 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.14 square miles (0.36 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 13th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
