Robertson County is a county in the United States of Tennessee. As of 2000 the population was 54433. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 64898, giving it the 20th largest population among Tennessee's county. It is spread over 476.67 sq mi (1234.57 square kilometre), of which, 476.47 square miles (1234.05 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 45th largest by size in Tennessee.

In the county the population was spread out, with 26.8% under the age of 18, 8.5% from 18 to 24, 31.4% from 25 to 44, 22.5% from 45 to 64, and 10.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 98.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.7 males. The July 2008 population estimate is 64898, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 89.97% White, 8.29% Black or African American, 0.29% American Indian, 0.48% Asian, 0.03% Native Hawaiian, and 0.95% from two or more races.
