Roberts City, Jefferson County, Idaho is a city located in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. The population of the city was 647 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 642, It is 107th most populous in Idaho. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.33 mi˛ (0.85 square kilometre ), of which, 0.31 square miles (0.8 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 47th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Idaho.

As of the census of 2000, there were 647 people in the city, organized into 160 households, and 138 families residing in the city. The population density was 2054.5 people per square mile (793.25/km˛), it is 45th most densely populated city in Idaho. There were 179 housing units at an average density of 577.4 per square mile (222.94/km˛). The average household size was 4.04 persons, and the average family size was 4.43 persons. In the city the population was distributed as follows: 41.4% under the age of 18, 11% from 18 to 24, 28.7% from 25 to 44, 12.2% from 45 to 64, and 6.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 108.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 114.1 males. The median age is 22.9 years, the median age of male residents at 23.1 and the median age of female residents at 22.7. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 49.77% White, 3.4% Black or African American, 1.08% American Indian, 0.31% Asian, 0.15% Native Hawaiian, 3.09% from two or more races and 42.19% Other races.
