Riverwoods Village is a city located in the Lake County, Illinois, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 3843 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 4081, making it Illinois's 369th largest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4 miē (10.36 kmē), of which, 3.99 square miles (10.33 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 274th largest by area in the U.S. state of Illinois.
