Riverdale Borough is a borough located in the Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The borough has a population of 2498 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 2858, making it New Jersey's 123rd smallest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 2.07 square miles (5.36 kmē), of which, 2.06 square miles (5.34 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 286th largest in terms of geographical size.
