River Hills Village, Wisconsin


River Hills Village is a city located in the Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1631 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1657, It is the 273rd largest by population in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Its area is just over 5.27 mi˛ (13.65 square kilometre), of which, 5.09 square miles (13.18 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.18 square miles (0.47 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 124th largest by total area in Wisconsin.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 1631 residents, 76 households, and 48 families in the city. The population density was 320.3 people per square mile (123.67/km˛), making it the 97th least densely populated city in Wisconsin. There were 617 housing units at an average density of 121.2 per square mile (46.8/km˛). The average household size was 2.76 people, and the average family size was 3.02 people. In the city Age distribution was 24.5% under the age of 18, 4.8% from 18 to 24, 18.8% from 25 to 44, 37% from 45 to 64, and 14.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 100.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.2 males. The median age of the city's population was 45.7 years, the median age of male residents at 45.7 and the median age of female residents at 45.8. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 1398 White, 80 Black or African American, 2 American Indian, 123 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 27 from two or more races and 1 Ohter races.
