River Falls City is a United States city located in the Pierce and St. Croix counties, Wisconsin, United States. The population of the city was 12560 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 14352, giving it the 57th largest population among Wisconsin. It is spread over 5.02 mi˛ (13 sq km), of which, 4.98 square miles (12.9 sq km ) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, making it the 127th largest by size in Wisconsin.

As of the census of 2000, there were 12560 people, 76 households, and 48 families living in the city. The population density was 2524 people per square mile (974.52/km˛), it is the 37th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. There were 4345 housing units at an average density of 872.5 per square mile (336.87/km˛). The average household size was 2.44 people, and the average family size was 2.98 people. In the city Age distribution was 17.9% under the age of 18, 35.1% from 18 to 24, 23.8% from 25 to 44, 14.6% from 45 to 64, and 8.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 119.8 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 124.9 females. The median age was 23.6 years, the median age of male residents at 24.5 and the median age of female residents at 22.9. The racial makeup of the city was 12129 White, 66 Black or African American, 45 American Indian, 128 Asian, 11 Native Hawaiian, 141 from two or more races and 40 Ohter races.
