Rising Sun-lebanon Cdp is a census designated place located in Kent County, Delaware, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 2458. making it Delaware's 26th largest. It is spread over 3.57 mi˛ (9.25 sq km), of which, 3.39 square miles (8.78 sq km ) of it is land and 0.17 square miles (0.44 sq km) of it is water, making it the 17th largest by size in Delaware. It is ranks seventh in the size of its inland waterways in Delaware.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2458 residents, 829 households, and 670 families in the census designated place. The population density was 724.3 people per square mile (279.65/km˛), making it the 11th least densely populated census designated place in Delaware. There were 940 housing units at an average density of 277.3 per square mile (107.07/km˛). The average household size was 2.97 persons, and the average family size was 3.29 persons. The population's age distribution was 35% under the age of 18, 11.4% from 18 to 24, 35.3% from 25 to 44, 12.7% from 45 to 64, and 5.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 97 males.
