Ripon City is a city in the San Joaquin County, California, United States. Ripon City had an official population of 10146 in 2000. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 14473, making it the 442nd most populous in California. It is spread over 4.17 square miles (10.8 square kilometre), of which, 4.1 square miles (10.62 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 square kilometre) of it is water, making it California's 595th largest by total area.
