Ripley City is a city located in the Jackson County, West Virginia, United States. The population of the city was 3263 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 3241, It is the 41st largest by population in the U.S. state of West Virginia. It has total area of 3.09 sq mi (8 sq km), giving it the 63rd largest by total area among West Virginia.
