Ripley City, Tennessee is a city of the Lauderdale County, Tennessee, United States. In 2000, the population was 7844. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 7636, making it the 62nd most populous in Tennessee. It covers total area of 12.85 mi˛ (33.28 square kilometre), of which, 12.81 square miles (33.18 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 58th largest by total area in Tennessee.
