Ripley City is a one of the Tippah County, Mississippi, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of the city was 5478 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 5646, making it Mississippi's 66th largest. The city has a total area of 11.53 square miles (29.86 square kilometre), of which, 11.49 square miles (29.76 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 52nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Mississippi.
