Ridgeland Town is one of the town of Jasper County, South Carolina, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 2518 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2589, It is the 147th largest in terms of population. It has total area of 2.42 sq mi (6.27 kmē), of which, 2.41 square miles (6.24 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, making it the 217th largest by size in South Carolina.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2518 people, 517 households, and 333 families living in the town. The population density was 1046.6 people per square mile (404.09/kmē), it would be the 104th most densely populated town in the U.S. state of South Carolina. There were 597 housing units at an average density of 247.7 per square mile (95.64/kmē). The average household size was 2.53 persons, and the average family size was 3.02 persons. In the town the population is diverse age-wise, with 14.9% under the age of 18, 16.6% from 18 to 24, 44.5% from 25 to 44, 15.8% from 45 to 64, and 8.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 279.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 338.2 males.
