Richwood City is one of the city of Brazoria County, Texas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 3012. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 3451, giving it the 488th largest population among Texas. Its area is just over 1.64 square miles (4.25 sq km), of which, 1.57 square miles (4.07 sq km) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 sq km) of it is water, it is the 989th largest in terms of geographical size.
