Richmond Village is a city located in McHenry County, Illinois, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1091 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 2316, It is the 656th largest by population in the U.S. state of Illinois. Its area is just over 1.36 sq mi (3.52 square kilometre), making it the 579th largest by size in Illinois.
