Richmond City is a city in the Macomb and St. Clair counties, Michigan, United States. Richmond City had an official population of 4897 in 2000. The July 2008 population estimate is 5606, It is the 183rd most populous in the U.S. state of Michigan. The city comprises an area of 2.95 sq mi (7.64 square kilometre), of which, 2.89 square miles (7.49 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 245th largest by size in Michigan.
