Rice City is a city located in the Benton County, Minnesota, United States. The population of the city was 711 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 1454, making it the 409th most populous in Minnesota. The city spans an area of 6.1 square miles (15.8 sq km), of which, 5.99 square miles (15.51 sq km) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 sq km) of it is water, it is the 137th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
