Republic City is a one of the Ferry County, Washington, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 954 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 941, It is 347th most populous in Washington. The city extends throughout a territory of 1.59 miē (4.12 kmē ), of which, 1.58 square miles (4.09 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, making it the 171st smallest by size in Washington.

As of the census of 2000, there were 954 residents, 411 households, and 245 families in the city. The population density was 602.9 people per square mile (232.78/kmē), it is 349th most densely populated city in Washington. There were 500 housing units at an average density of 316.5 per square mile (122.2/kmē). The average household size was 2.25 persons, and the average family size was 2.96 persons. In the city the population was spread out, with 26% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 24.4% from 25 to 44, 27.9% from 45 to 64, and 14.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 93.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.8 males.
