Renville County is a United States county located in the United States of North Dakota. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Renville County is home to 2610 inhabitants. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 2245, It is the 12th smallest in terms of population. The county has a total area of 892.03 mi˛ (2310.35 sq km), of which, 874.77 square miles (2265.64 sq km) of it is land and 17.27 square miles (44.73 sq km) of it is water, it is the ninth smallest by area in the U.S. state of North Dakota.

As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2245, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 97.15% White, 0.4% Black or African American, 1.02% American Indian, 0.62% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, and 0.8% from two or more races.
