Refugio Town is a United States town located in the Refugio County, Texas, United States. The population of the town was 2941 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 2717, It is 500th most populous in Texas. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.56 square miles (4.04 kmē), it is the 501st smallest in terms of geographical size.
