Redwood City City, San Mateo County, California is a city located in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 75402. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 74060, It is the 87th largest in terms of population. The city has a total area of 34.56 square miles (89.51 kmē), of which, 19.48 square miles (50.45 kmē) of it is land and 15.09 square miles (39.08 kmē) of it is water, it is the 72nd largest by area in the U.S. state of California. It is ranks 17 in the size of its inland waterways in California.
