It is the 128th smallest by population in the U.S. state of New York. Its area is just over 2.55 square miles (6.6 square kilometre), of which, 2.04 square miles (5.28 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.51 square miles (1.32 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 443rd largest by size in New York.
